Thousand Miles can transport you out of the “hustle and bustle” of the city and take you on a beautiful mountain walk with a licensed mountain guide. Hiking takes place with nordic walking poles, after having prepared them for proper use. The guide on the first mountain ascent, will make an assessment of the physical capabilities of each of the participants.
This enables them to create a specifically tailored route for each group of guests. Of course, if it is necessary, then the group will be divided into two smaller groups based on the capabilities of the participants and the predicted intensity of the specific route in question.

Thanks to the use of nordic walking poles, it is an ideal activity for people looking to loose weight through cardio-vascular exercise. The Nordic walking poles relieve the hip, knee and ankle joints by helping to distribute weight and aiding with balance. In contrast to the classic walking, the use of nordic walking poles engage the whole body in movement by transferring some of the weight (and work) to the shoulders, biceps and triceps, which in turn, helps to burn more calories!
